Basic Equipment

Rescue Tripod Structure and Components

The rescue tripod consists of tripod , a manual winch, a sling, and a pulley.

 

The Basic Configuration

Top: high strength aluminum

Ring bolts: one in the middle and one in the back for installation

Support: the promotion of a retractable support with a push rod to move the support up and down. The bottom of the bracket is equipped with steel support to effectively ensure the stability of the equipment in uneven areas.

Hand winch: 30 m steel cable

Chain: the safety chain can effectively reduce horizontal force and prevent the support from slipping

 

Fire Rescue Tripod Installation

1. Place the tripod flat on a flat, hard floor, open the bracket, and secure the bracket length with the positioning pins.

2. Stand up the tripod and secure it with a latch

3. Make sure the support is securely placed. Adjust the retractable bracket to ensure that the three pivot points are on the same plane, install the chain and lock the chain with the link buckle.

Note: Do not trip over the chain when installing the chain.

4. Check if the positioning pin is secure and the position is suitable.

5. Make sure the chain is installed at the bottom of the bracket and it is effective to prevent slippage due to horizontal forces.

6. The operator must wear a fall arrester when using a tripod.

Pack Up Rescue Tripod

1. Press the interlock lever and retract the bracket.

2. Place the tripod flat on the flat surface to remove the positioning push pin and then retract the bracket.

 

How to Use Fire Rescue Tripod?

When using, shake the handle of the manual winch that is control the up and down of the sling to achieve the purpose of rescue. The manual winch has a self-locking device, and an accident occurs when it rises. Suddenly, the handle is not shaken, and the load or the person does not fall down. Only move down to move down.

 

Maintenance Requirements for Fire Rescue Tripods

1. The rescue tripod is a lifting device. It must be inspected by a special person every month. Before each use, check whether the sling can be wound around the reaming wheel normally.

2. Regularly check that the connection of the sling is strong enough.

3. The slings on the winch need to be left three to four times when opening to ensure that the slings do not slip.

4. The rescue tripod should be stored in a dry place and should not be stored with corrosive liquids such as acids and alkalis.
