The safety fall arrest harness for transmission and wind energyis ergonomically designed to support the the whole body while bearing the weight of the transmission and wind energy worker and the weight of the attached tool. The high-strength polyester webbing with tightly woven stitching,is bright in color, light in weight, high load-bearing, of strong tensile force, abundant accessories and adjustable strap. The ergonomically designed fall arrest harness for transmission and wind energy is just for your convenience while it is economic and practical. Other function can also be added at extra cost, such as sit belt, tools lanyard loop or D rings, work positioning D rings, etc. This harness is ideal for transmission and energy workers for fall arrest application, and is CE certified and meet the EU CE standard EN361:2002.
However, this fall arrest harness for transmission and wind energy can also be used as restraint or travelling harness when it is connected with restraint purpose lanyard or etc.
Warning: Equipment must be used for intended applications. Unintended applications may result in serious injury or death. Maximum 1 attachement is allowed for a connection point.
Personal Fall Arrest: FA Harness may be used to support a MAXIMUM 1 Personal Fall Arrest System (PFAS) for use in Fall Arrest applications. Structure must withstand loads applied in the directions permitted by the system of at least 5,000 lbs. Maximum free fall is 6‘, or up to 12’ if used in combination with equipment explicitly certified for such use. Maximum free fall for Sternal D-ring is 2’. Applicable D-ring: Dorsal, Sternal.
Note: For all applications: worker weight capacity range(including all clothing, tools, and equipment) is 130-420 lbs.
Requirements for the anchorage point and connector combined with the fall arrest harness to form fall protection system
As far as possible, the structural anchorage point should be at a height of between 1.5 and 2 meters above the feet of the user. The anchoring point must withhold a minimal resistance of 12kN. The connection to the anchoring point or to the structure must be done using an EN 362 connector. For connecting the fall arrester system to the fall harness, please refer to the instructions manual provided with the harness to be sure to use the correct hook and attaching method.
CAUTION!
If the user moves away from the vertical plane through the structura lanchorage point, if he falls, he will swing and may collide with an obstacle.Always check whether there is swing fall hazard before use.
