Power Plus Whisper Interface box WIB

The Whisper Interface Box (WIB) is a device capable of connecting one or more Lithium Power Plus batteries to a DC consumer, inverter or battery charger (DC bus) with the intent of protecting the battery or battery bank from improper use. The WIB communicates with the batteries’ BMS (Battery Management System). Once batteries are used beyond their suggested limits, the WIB will shut down the batteries to protect them.

The WIB connects to the WhisperConnect CAN bus that allows you to read all the batteries in the system on a cell-by-cell basis. You can also connect the WhisperPower touch panel to the WIB to monitor your system, or even remotely wherever you are via your smartphone when the router is also installed.

• Up to sixteen lithium batteries can be connected to the WIB without external CAN power.
• Up to 100 lithium batteries can be connected to the WIB with use of external CAN power.
