Snap hook: Snap hook for fall protection lanyard must be double action opening for the gate to open. This is a safety requirement. The reason is to prevent the hook from being accidently opened. The snap hook for fall protection lanyard is either forged or punched. For different models, their gate opening is different. The material of snap hook for fall protection lanyard can be either alloy steel or aluminum , their surface treatment can be white zinc galvanized, yellow zinc galavanized. Most of our products are CE, ANSI and CSA certified and meet the CE standard EN362-2004, ANSI standard Z359.12-09 and CSA standard Z259.12-16. The snap hook is widely used for securing rope or cable, rope lanyard and webbing lanyard as well as for fall arrester .

To guarantee the quality, our standard finishes exceed minimum 48 hours spray resistance as required by the EN362:2004 or ANSI Z359.12-2009 standard. Special finish corrosion resistance is available upon request. Also hardness test, bending test and tensile strength test are carried to the snap hook. The capacity of our Universal Tensile Strength Testing Equipment is 50kN. We use this Equipment to test the strength of webbing, rope and hardware components with different moulds. When we receive each batch of raw materials or accessories, we will carry out sampling strength test according to relevant standards or customers’ requirements, so as to fundamentally control the quality of our products.
