Introduction
With a dorsal D ring, this fall arrest harness can be used to catch and reduce the force of a fall from heights in event of the tripping over of the platform. The special versatile and ergonomic design of the EN361:2002 elevated platform fall arrest harness provides users with maximum comfort. This fall arrest harness together with energy absorbing lanyard (if elastic and retractable energy absorbing lanyard is better) is specially ideal for the elevated work platform. Important note: the anchorage end of the lanyard should be firmly connected with the anchorage point on the elevated work platform, which should have enought strength to withstand the fall impact. The well-designed construction of the EN361:2002 elevated platform fall arrest harness allows the fall-arrest attachment point to be perfectly positioned for the user. The multifunctional polyester safety harness kit is CE certified and meet the EU CE standard EN361:2002.
The fall arrest system must include a full body harness and a connection which features an energy-absorption function. In addition, measures should be taken to avoid systems that could create a fall factor greater than 2(fall factor=height of fall/length of lanyard).
Attention
As work on the elevated platform has fall risk, the quality of fall arrest harness for the workers is critical. Do not use it if it has signs of corrosion or damage from exposure to chemicals,excessive heat,flames and electrical charge or shows signs of any physical damage or deformation. Before each use, check the webbings, hardwares and buckles to see if there is any damage, tears, abrasions, mold, burns,missing, etc.
