Introduction
- Designed for security and adaptability, as a vital link to their fall protection anchor point, this Single leg elastic energy absorbing polyester webbing lanyard with energy absorber is specially used for fall arrest in the field of constrcution, elevated work platform and industry.
- The energy absorbing lanyard has one leg elastic webbing, a carabiner or a snap hook to be connected with the full body fall arrest harness, a scaffold hook to be connected with the anchorage point and an energy absorber to function quickly and opens up in case of a fall. This opening of the webbing takes up most of the jerk which is felt as an impact when a fall occurs. Hence finally very little jerk is felt on the body of the user while subject to a fall. As the webbing is elastic, its length is much shorter than the non-elastic lanyard, which effectively reduces the tripping over hazard during work. The polyester outer strap is well resistant to abrasion and cutting, which better protect the webbing in event of a fall.

- The hardware should be painted well without corrosion and should stress tested to withstand high dynamic loading without failing. Snap hook for fall protection lanyard must be double action opening for the gate to open. This is a safety requirement. The reason is to prevent the hook of the energy absorbing webbing lanyard from being accidently opened.
- The webbing must be free from burrs, damages or cuts and the lanyard end must be firmly stitched to avoid tearing or rupture under impact.
INSTRUCTION
This product must not be exposed to temperatures below -30°C or above +45°C.Exposure of the lanyard to direct flame or temperatures beyond these limits could cause the lanyard to fail.Take care to protect the lanyard from such exposure during use, transport, storage, etc.
