Providing a safe method of attaching your fall protection harness to a secure anchorage point, this double leg elastic energy absorbing polyester webbing lanyard with energy absorber is specially used for fall arrest application. The unique stretchable lanyard design minimises the length of the lanyard, preventing tripping or snagging. It is ideal for the environment where there are chances of user tripping over the lanyard, snagging or dragging, and is widely used in power supplies, transmission, telecommunication, high rack, metal construction, scaffolding, wind energy and tower maintenance – as well as for aborist activities. The dual tail shock absorbing webbing lanyard with energy absorber is CE certified and meet the EU CE standard EN354-2010 and EN355-2002.
The twin leg energy absorbing webbing lanyard is composed of webbing, energy absorber and forged hardware. The energy absorber, whose function is to reduce the impact of fall to less than 6KN, is made of 45mm wide webbing. TOHO Energy Absorber pack consists of a special white inner polyamide core which absorbs the arresting forces in the event of a fall.The coloured webbing sleeve serves as a back up.The transparent protective covering helps in easy and fast visual inspection.The scaffold hook, carabiner and snap hook is made of forged steel and are color zinc plated.
Lanyards are split into 3 distinct types, each with a specifc purpose: shock absorbing lanyards (with absorber), restraint lanyards (no absorber), and work positioning lanyards.
