Retractable type fall arrester is one type of personal fall protection systems. It need to be used with lanyards and full body harnesses together. There are two types of retractable fall arresters, including steel wire rope fall arrester and webbing fall arrester. The retracting feature eliminates tripping hazards while the inertia-locking mechanism arrests a fall within inches of activation. 1. Attach the sling of person at the end of the cable line by using safety hook.
