Guardian MAX Light Tactical Vehicle (LTV)
The Guardian MAX LTV is a highly versatile light tactical vehicle built on a commercially available heavy-duty truck chassis and engineered to provide exceptional mobility, protection, and mission adaptability. It offers certified ballistic protection up to STANAG 4569 Level II, with optional armor upgrades available to achieve STANAG 4569 Level III protection for enhanced survivability in high-threat environments.
Designed to accommodate up to five personnel, the vehicle features a spacious crew cabin and a large rear cargo compartment for transporting equipment, supplies, or mission-specific payloads. The standard configuration includes certified blast-mitigation seats fitted with five-point safety harnesses and mounted directly to the vehicle’s structural frame to reduce the transmission of blast energy and improve occupant safety.
The suspension, braking, and drivetrain systems have been engineered to support the additional weight of the armor package while maintaining outstanding on-road handling and off-road performance. Heavy-duty military-grade tires are fitted with beadlock tactical wheels and run-flat inserts, allowing continued mobility even after tire damage. An optional semi-automatic Central Tire Inflation System (CTIS) further enhances traction and adaptability across varying terrain.
The vehicle’s modular design allows it to be configured for a wide range of operational roles. Optional equipment includes remote-controlled weapon stations, surveillance and reconnaissance systems, communications equipment, rescue and recovery tools, and other mission-specific accessories, making it suitable for tactical operations, border security, convoy protection, reconnaissance, and emergency response missions.
