SAFT LSH14 Lithium Technology
The LSH14 uses a spiral-cell Lithium Thionyl Chloride design for applications requiring high power and long operating life. SAFT specifies high voltage response with stable performance during most of the application’s lifetime, high drain/pulse capability and a self-discharge rate of less than 3% after one year of storage at +20°C.
The cell incorporates a stainless-steel container, hermetic glass-to-metal sealing, non-flammable electrolyte, built-in safety vent and 5A fuse. SAFT also lists compliance with relevant safety and transport standards for the LSH14 platform.
